The Elevator Show made its grand debut as AFAG’s first trade fair in Dubai, and it was a resounding success! From 16 to 18 September 2024 the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) hosted around 3,700 visitors from 76 countries. For ADITUS and Info Salons Middle East (ISME), it marked their second collaboration supporting a German client in Dubai, following DOMOTEX. The duo played pivotal roles in organising the event and securing the necessary permits. An experienced Dubai-based staffing company was brought on board to manage attendee entry, with the team trained specifically for the The Elevator Show and on ADITUS hardware. In an eco-friendly twist, AFAG’s event featured ADITUS’s sustainable lanyards, making their debut at the fair, ensuring both security and style for badge-wearers!

The Green Light for Your Event
Organisers require a permit to hold an event at the DWTC. To obtain this permit, organisers must submit event details and supporting documents via a registration platform. For The Elevator Show, ADITUS and ISME took this crucial task off AFAG’s hands, handling the entire process and obtaining the event permit from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DTCM).

Successful events require good staff. ADITUS and ISME enlisted a trusted Dubai-based staffing agency to provide well-trained ushers for The Elevator Show. The event staff team was expertly briefed on the event and the ADITUS hardware, ensuring efficient on-site registration, clearance, and flawless guest assistance at the entry points.
Fast, Safe and Sustainable Lanyards
AFAG introduced new sustainable lanyards from ADITUS for the first time at one of their events. They opted for the sewn version, requiring just a single hole in the badge. Upon arrival, participants collected their on-demand printed badges and simply attached them to the lanyard. Quick, easy, and crafted from a single recyclable material, AFAG’s choice set an example for recyclable products and easy handling.
